ANZAC DAY SCHEDULE

CLUB OPEN
Bar & breakfast available — enjoy a bacon & egg roll on the front green before the service begins.

7:45AM
ANZAC MARCH
from Lake Illawarra Hotel to Club Windang car park. Roads through Windang will be temporarily closed to allow the march to pass safely.

8:00AM – 9:00AM
COMMERATIVE SERVICE
at the cenotaph (Club Windang car park).
Ex-service members and visiting ex-service members of all branches, members of Windang Bowls Club and visitors are invited to fall in at the cenotaph at the club flag pole.

11:00AM – 2:00PM
2UP
in the Club Auditorium — a traditional ANZAC Day game, bringing mates together for a great atmosphere inside the club.

12:00PM – 3:00PM

5:30PM Tickets | 7:00PM Draw SATURDAY RAFFLE hosted by the Windang Pelicans Junior Rugby League in the main lounge. Your chance to win meat trays and fresh fruit & vegetable trays.

You may download (& print double sided) either or both of the designs below.

or visit Club Windang reception for a copy, we even have colour pencils available while visiting our club.

Don’t forget to get a parent to sign the back & submit to front reception of Club Windang by

Thursday 23rd April 2026 4pm.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

WHO CAN ENTER? We separate the winners into age categories. For example, ages 8 & under; ages 9 & above.

HOW TO ENTER? Colour in the competition entry and then hand entry to Club Windang front reception before THURSDAY 23rd APRIL 2026 4PM. Register your first name, age, parent name and contact phone number. Entrant’s submission will be on display in the club up to a week after ANZAC DAY (from Saturday 25th April 2026).

THE PRIZES? There will be 2 (two) most creative winners & 5 (five) Runner Ups. Our prizes 2 x $50 vouchers & 5 x $20 for a selected book retailer. We will have the winners displayed on our ANZAC DAY commemorative service programme. Winners will be announced FRIDAY 24th APRIL 2026 12pm, via social media & be contacted by phone. Prizes will be collected by participant’s parent from front reception.

NO LIABILITY All costs incurred by the entrant associated with entering this competition and claiming the prizes are the responsibility of the entrant/parent. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
